America's largest privately owned home is just a short drive from the farm. The Biltmore Estate includes the 250-room Châteauesque mansion, 8,000 acres of gardens and grounds, a winery, restaurants, and seasonal events. It's one of the most visited attractions in the Southeast.
The Blue Ridge Parkway runs right through the Asheville area, offering some of the most scenic drives in the eastern United States. Popular stops near the farm include the Folk Art Center, Craggy Gardens, Graveyard Fields, and the highest point on the Parkway at Richland Balsam.
